Non-Medical Companion Care Across Long Island
A Care Plan Built Around Your Loved One
From a few hours a week to overnight and 24-hour care, we build a flexible plan around your loved one’s routine and adjust it as needs change. It starts with a free, no-obligation consultation in your loved one’s home, so we can understand what’s needed and match the right caregiver.
Caregivers You Can Count On
Our caregivers are employees of Total Home Senior Care, not independent contractors. Every caregiver is screened and background-checked, and all are bonded and insured. Our typical caregiver is a Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) or Certified Home Health Aide (C.H.H.A.) with at least two years of experience, and many have experience with clients living with Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s.

Respite Care for Family Caregivers
Caring for a parent or spouse is demanding, and every family caregiver needs a break. Our respite care gives you time to rest, run errands, keep your own appointments or travel, knowing your loved one has good company at home. We can cover a few hours, an overnight, or several days while you’re away, on a regular schedule or whenever you need us.
Help at Home After a Hospital Stay
Coming home after surgery, an illness, or a hospital or rehab stay is easier with an extra set of hands. While your loved one recovers, our caregivers can help with meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, prescription pick-up, medication reminders and getting to follow-up appointments. If your loved one also needs nursing or therapy, their doctor or hospital will arrange a medical home health agency, and we’re happy to work alongside them.
Overnight & 24-Hour Care
Need someone there through the night or around the clock? We offer 12-hour sleepover stays and 24-hour care at discounted flat rates. Call us for details.
Total Home Senior Care provides non-medical companion and homemaker services. Our caregivers do not provide medical or nursing care, and do not provide hands-on personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting or transferring.
